Including me i am too a pahadi from uttrakhand and I love to be at that place because it's like heaven on earth for me.

In UTTRAKHAND people speak in "GHARWALI' language. Uttrakhand is one of the most beautiful northern states of India located on the southern slope of the 'HIMALAYAN RANGE'. Mighty himalayan peaks and glaciers are on north where it borders 'TIBET'. Nepal is on it's east, Indian state of uttar pradesh is on south and himachal pradesh lies on it's west and north west. 65% of it's area is cvered by dense forests that are home to royal bengal tigers,leopards and many endangered animal and plant speices. The glaciers of the two most important rivers "GANGA AND YAMUNA" are located here. It has something to offer to every kind of traveller. For wildlife lovers, Jim Corbett National Park- the oldest national park of Indian subcontinents is a muat visit. For adventure seekers there are India's best trekking trails like Valley of Flower, Roopkund and Chopta-Chandrashila. It also provides immense opportunities for adventure sports such as skiing at Auli and white water rafting at Shivpuri. Popularly known as 'LAND OF GODS' it id home to numerous holy places like Gangotri, Yamnotri, Kedarnath,Badrinath, Rishikesh, Haridwar. Therefore thousands of pilgrims throng the state every year. Amazing hill stations like Chakrata, Mukteshwar, Dhanulti and Munsiyari makes Uttrakhand a sought after tourits destination for leisure trips.
Here's a list of destination of Uttrakhand that every nature liver would like to visit.......
"AULI"

Auli is one of the most beautiful places of Uttrakhand. Boarded by sbow covered hinalayan peaks, Auli is enveloped in dense gold oak, pine forests, green meadows and slops.

"JIM CORBETT"

Spread across an area of 520 sq km, Jim Corbett national park is situated in Nainital district of Uttrakhannd. It is the oldest park and is named after the main person behind this establishment.

"TEHRI DAM"

A beautiful uphill drives through hills covered in pines and small villages will take you to the dam.
It is built on Bhagirathi River in Uttrakhand and is the tallest dam in India.

"DHANAULTI"

The breathtaking views of snow capped Himalayan Ranges, vast expance if green Meadows and thick pine ,cedar and rhodendron forests makes Dhanaulti a exotic hideaway destination. Located exactly 325 km avay from state capital Dehradun.


There are many more places to visit in uttrakhand its just a short description about the beauty of Uttrakhand.  Do visit Uttrakhand onces in a lifetime it's seriously represents heaven on earth.
